Hello to the inquiring minds of the Inglenook readers. I am bringing you an offering as your Transformation Features Writer. If you want to know more about what that means, you can read my first Inglenook download for December 2025.

Before I pull any cards for you, I want to know the question I’m supposed to be asking on your behalf. For that, I was called to use my magnetic poetry divination tool. Yep, the fridge poetry magnetic “toy” that I’m sure, like me, you have never been able to resist when you see them splayed on someone’s fridge.

The words I pulled for you are:

Glow
Cloud

Clouds hold back. They carry moisture over long distances to where it is needed most. They can create astounding displays, even appearing to us as solid objects or figures, but they are simply water droplets. Clouds can also hide the sun's glow.

I combine these guiding words and ask:

  1. What are we holding in that is blocking the light from shining through?
  2. What is this light we should be cultivating?

For the first question, I pull from my Enochian deck: 52. AILA Higher Sephirothic Cross Angels of Air (Inverted)

Keywords: Futility, lack of authority, an enemy, a bad time

For the second question, I pull: 78. AHMLLKV Fifth Senior of Earth

Keywords: Reason, logic, deliberation, judgement, authority, a reward, purity, innocence of thought

The cards suggest that we can often absorb the world's chaos. More directly, AILA is talking about confronting fears about our governments.

Right now, there’s a consistent feeling of being out of control, and the sense that someone, something, is determined to ensure you are struggling and unhappy. The playful angels of AILA typically represent the joy of harmonious existence, but here they are inverted, discordant. The government’s consistent role in sowing disharmony has historically been more covert than it is today. The U.S. government today is not quiet in its desire for the destruction of stability and safety for the masses in the U.S., and it’s taking a toll on the collective’s mental health because of the disappearances of family members, disruption of food benefits, the dissolution of art and history institutions, and the consistent barrage of distracting information thanks to social media.

The cards are not saying do nothing, be passive, or ignorant. These cards are asking you not to bury your fears. We are moving through—release, release, release! The hoarding of fear is not serving your stability and safety from within. What you have direct control over is your internal world. Fear of this magnitude actually keeps us silent and stagnant, unable to effect any change, internal or external. When fear turns into deliberate action, we can take steps to counter what we fear.

The reward of this release of fear is personal authority grounded in a logic that will wisely shape your judgments. The “purity” that AHMLLKV is referring to is a clear mind. Fear in and of itself is not wrong or evil; it can be protective and guiding. Too much fear, especially hoarded fear in the cloud of our being, means we never let the waters go. If we never let the waters go, the plants will wither, and the rivers will run dry. Never dispersing means the sun will always be blocked, our sky forever grey.

Release your glow and become light.

There is one actionable prompt for this reading:

  1. Identify your fears.
  2. Name their source.
  3. Thank the fear for its intention to protect you.
  4. Tell the fear it’s time to become something new.
  5. Find logical counterpoints for your fear.
  6. Create somatic affirmations that transform your fear into something more beneficial to you.
  7. Take actions that address the fear directly.
  8. Repeat this process as many times as needed. Release is not linear. Water flows in a cycle.

Remember to set your intention and say a protection before entering this transformative space.

Here is a suggested protection: I am safe and secure, always, in my discernment and discovery of myself and all versions and aspects of who I am.

Wishing you deep release.

In Abundance,
Malachi Lily
